To me, this is the golden age of the IC. The sheer scale of what we can experiment with now is incredible. I’ve chatted with several managers lately who all say the same thing: they’d love to be back in an IC role just to experiment with these tools. We have a level of creative freedom and execution speed that was literally unimaginable until very recently.
