How can we take them seriously if a single mistake can bring down such a large portion of the internet? If you’re still reading, here’s the reality: incidents like this will happen again. People make mistakes, and we learn from them. AWS will learn from this — and so can you. Either you accept that these incidents are part of operating at scale, or you build greater resilience into your own systems to minimize their impact. So, what will you be doing tomorrow?
